Two years after their « Climate Dress », LED dress,  the creative Danish duo from Diffus, an interactive design firm, launched a solar powered handbag in association with the Swiss embroidery company, Forster Rohner  and the Copenhagen Alexandra Institute.

The bag can generate up to 2 Watts, enough to power a cellphone, a MP3 player or a camera

The technology  uses one hundred miniature photovoltaic cells sewed on classic  material. The cells are part of the handbag design and can generate up to 2 Watts, enough to power a cellphone, a MP3 player or a camera. A lithium-ion battery hidden in a small pocket keeps the energy surplus.
